Concepción, Chile – 18 enero, 2026: Un trágico balance preliminar confirma 16 fallecidos y 253 viviendas destruidas tras el avance descontrolado de incendios forestales en la comuna. Las llamas, avivadas por fuertes vientos durante la madrugada, alcanzaron rápidamente sectores urbanos y afectaron también a las localidades vecinas de Penco y Lirquén.
