MEXICO - Dia de Muertos parade
Mexico City, Mexico – November 2, 2024: Mexicans gathered to commemorate Día de Muertos with traditional altars, vibrant decorations, and offerings to honor their deceased loved ones. Celebrations took place across the country, with families and communities observing this rich cultural tradition rooted in pre-Hispanic customs and infused with Christian elements. Festivities included processions, music, and displays of colorful «papel picado» and marigolds, filling streets and cemeteries in a lively remembrance of the departed.
