Argentina-Six F-16s conduct low-altitude flyover over Buenos Aires following purchase from Denmark
Buenos Aires, Argentina – December 6, 2025: Six Argentine Air Force F-16 fighter jets performed an impressive low-altitude flyover this Saturday above iconic city landmarks, including the Obelisk, Casa Rosada, and the Costanera. The activity, originally scheduled for Sunday, was moved forward due to weather forecasts. The participating aircraft—four two-seaters and two single-seaters—are part of the batch of 24 units the Argentine Government purchased from Denmark, equipped with weapons systems provided by the United States, in a deal totaling $650 million. The roar of the engines surprised locals in a deployment that symbolizes the recent modernization of the nation’s air power. (Photo: Nehuen Rovediello/ UNAR AGENCY)
