Buenos Aires, Argentina – February 11, 2025: A massive fire broke out in the Renoir II Tower, a 30-story residential building in Puerto Madero, forcing the evacuation of 100 residents. The blaze originated on the 11th floor and spread to the 19th, likely due to a technical failure in an air conditioning unit. Emergency crews, including firefighters, medical personnel, and civil defense, responded swiftly, with 41 ambulances deployed. At least 50 people were evaluated for injuries, and 32 required oxygen for smoke inhalation. Three individuals, including a baby and a 36-year-old woman, were hospitalized at Argerich Hospital.
