Lomas de Zamora, Argentina – August 27, 2025: Protesters attack Argentine President Javier Milei’s motorcade with stones and bottles during a political rally in Buenos Aires province. Milei, accompanied by his sister and advisor Karina Milei, was leading a campaign caravan to promote congressional candidates when opposition militants confronted them over a corruption scandal involving the National Disability Agency. The situation quickly escalated, forcing the president’s immediate evacuation. Congressional candidate José Luis Espert fled the scene on a motorcycle, while Milei and his sister were escorted away in a separate vehicle.
